“We aim to express and support anyone within the LGBTQ+ community, but it’s also important for allies to attend as well.
“We want as many people there as possible to support everyone where you can expect a lot of fun and entertainment, whilst also having that togetherness and gaining knowledge about why we do this.
“It’s all about sharing love and having empathy.”

Luna continued: “I understand that there might be some who may not like it, but I encourage them to come along and see what it’s all about.

Finally, when asked why the event was being held in August rather than in June which is the month of Pride, the drag queen explained: “So much was going on in June that some events were moved to different parts of the year.
“I recently attended one last week which was in July, and there are a few more across the country this summer.
“It’s a chance for people to experience different events."
