Residents in Marlow are helping to raise funds for the conversion of a new site for their local radio station through unconventional means.
Staff at menswear company Mr James Marlow have purchased signed bricks to be displayed inside the new Marlow FM radio station building, an old caretaker's garage in the grounds of a local school which is currently the centre of fundraising conversion efforts.
A representative for the business shared images of the employees holding their inscribed bricks, which will make up a dedicated supporters' wall inside the building, and encouraged others to consider spending £97.50 on their own customised brick too.
They wrote: "Show your love for Marlow and help ensure the future of this amazing radio station - every brick counts and every contribution makes a significant impact.
"Let's come together and build a solid foundation for Marlow FM's continued success!"
The radio station's former site at Longbridge Activity Centre, which served as its home since 2011, is set to be demolished later this year.
The conversion of the old caretaker's garage was described by a spokesperson from the station as its "biggest ever fundraising drive".
Those wishing to pledge their support to the new Marlow FM site can also donate to a GoFundMe that has already raised nearly £5,000 of its £25,000 target and can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/new-studios-for-marlow-fm.
