A murder inquiry was launched at the time after police found ‘evidence of serious assault’ when they stormed the property, however, no arrests have been made.
Police continued to investigate the matter, focusing on Mr Oldale’s mental health issues at the time.
A pre-inquest review was held at Beaconsfield Coroner’s Court on Wednesday (August 2) when senior coroner Crispin Giles Butler confirmed a two-to-three-day inquest will take place into their deaths in February next year.
The interested people in the inquest are: The families of the deceased, Oxford Health, NHS England, Care Quality Commission, Chiltern Support Housing, and Thames Valley Police.
Red Kite Housing, which runs Orchard House, helped police with their investigations at the time but has stated the company will no longer be an interested person during the inquest.
