WEEKLY round up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.
May 12
MARCUS TRICKS, 44, of Hendrix Drive, Crownhill, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault on an emergency worker, namely police officers, on March 3 this year in Milton Keyes as well as one count of causing harassment, alarm or distress by using threatening, abusive or insulting words on March 7 this year. He was given a six week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months. He will also need to complete 12 months of alcohol treatment, 15 days of rehabilitation activity and pay £50 in compensation.
AARON ROBERTSON, 38, of Old Tea Warehouse, High Wycombe, indicated guilty to stealing alcohol to the value of £203 from Sainsbury’s, Oxford Road, High Wycombe. He was given a community order to complete 25 days of rehabilitation activity. There was also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £114.
May 26
KYLE DUNLOP, 41, of Keep Hill Drive, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to stealing meat products to an unknown value from Sainsbury’s in Marlow on November 6 last year. He was given a community order to complete 60 hours of unpaid work and to pay £200 in compensation. There were also court costs of £85.
MARVIN HEWETTS, 31, of Railway Terrace, Slough, indicated guilty to possession of a weapon, namely a baseball bat, in Cobblers Close, Buckinghamshire on November 21, 2021. An order was made for the bat to be forfeited and destroyed and Hewetts was fined £500. There were also court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £50.

It is established in the UK that court cases should be heard in public.
