A POLICE officer who has been charged with a child sex crime is due to appear in court today (Wednesday, August 2).
PC Luke Christopher Horner, based in Amersham, has been charged with one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with 13-year-old girl.
The 24-year-old, of Thames Valley Police, is also charged with one count of making an indecent image of a child. The charges relate to an incident in the Rushden area on June 11 this year.

Horner remains in custody before his hearing at Northampton Crown and County Court later today (August 2).
