The emergency services were alerted after an arsonist targeted an abandoned house in Buckinghamshire countryside.
The firefighters received reports of a derelict house on fire on Ibstone Road in Stokenchurch on Friday July 21 shortly before midnight.
Two fire engines and crews from High Wycombe, one from Oxford, one from Thame and a water carrier along with two officers rushed to the scene, where a derelict two-storey building was fully in flames.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The incident generated multiple calls to Thames Valley Fire Control Service.

“The firefighters used two hose reel jets and a thermal imaging camera.
“The electricity provider also attended and isolated the electricity supply to the building.”
Thames Valley Police set up a scene cordon around the unsafe areas of the building.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Following an investigation, the report has been filed pending further information coming to light.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230325455.
“Alternatively, provide information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
