Heavy delays were caused in a Buckinghamshire village after two ponies attached to harnesses were seen being used on a main road.
At around 7.45pm on Wednesday, July 19 along the A4010 in Stoke Mandeville, a long tailback of cars was seen heading towards Terrick due to the unauthorised form of transportation.
According to an eye witness, those in the carts ‘showed no care in the world’ and descried the people in question as ‘very young individuals’.

A video of the incident shows two separate carts roughly 100 meters apart from each other with the ponies being attached.
Once the queue began, the occupants in the cart started to alert motorists to overtake them, but these instructions were ignored, primarily due to slow speed that the animals were going at, along with the road being quite bending.
Some also opted to wait until reaching the junction to avoid spooking the animals.
One eye witness told the Free Press: “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

“I was heading into Risborough and thought I was going to get there in good time because the roads are usually clear in the evening, so to be held up in traffic for that reason shocked me.
“Those in the carts showed no care in the world, as they clearly didn’t seem to be bothered by the traffic being caused.
“I had to scratch my eyes at what I was seeing.”
