Residents and businesses have been warned ahead of filming taking place on Marlow High Street today.
Filming for murder-mystery TV show 'The Marlow Murder Club' kicked off in the town on June 5, with crews expected to remain in the area for two months.
Production members have since been spotted all over the town at sites including Station Road, Quarry Wood Road and Higginson Park.
They are also set to descend upon Marlow High Street today (July 20), with an official notice providing a window of 8am to 8pm when filming will take place.
Residents will still be able to use the High Street and can park on West Street, Dean Street, Pound Lane or Institute Road.
Crews and equipment were also spotted on the High Street yesterday, with parking cones and restrictions in place.
'The Marlow Murder Club' has even more of a local resonance than its name suggests, as the production is based on a novel penned by Marlow-based author and screenwriter Robert Thorogood.
Robert, who created the BBC series Death in Paradise, said he hoped the TV show would "do the town proud" and promised that the crews would not shut down Marlow's Grade II listed bridge.
The plot of 'The Marlow Murder Club' follows a retired archaeologist, Judith Potts, who lives alone in a fading mansion in the town.
After hearing a gunshot from her neighbour's garden, Judith assembles an unlikely team of sleuths, recruiting local dogwalker and empty-nester Suzie and unfulfilled vicar's wife Becks.
Together, the three women investigate the mystery behind the gunshot, eventually working alongside the police to bring the killer to justice.
The production's cast include Samantha Bond ('Downton Abbey'), Jo Martin ('Doctor Who') and Cara Horgan ('The Sandman'), with Steve Barron at the helm as director.
The adaptation of the novel, which is being produced by Monumental Television in association with ITV, will air in two two-hour segments on UKTV's Drama channel in 2024.
Speaking in June, Debra Hayward, co-founder of Monumental Television, said: "We instantly fell in love with Robert's book, and we're delighted that he's bringing it to the screen with us.
"Combined with Steve Barron's brilliant directing and our superb cast led by Samantha Bond, we hope that audiences will be as captivated by Robert's Marlow as we are."
