A film crew was spotted at a mansion by River Thames in Buckinghamshire.
The crews and equipment were seen outside a house near Marlow on Quarry Wood Road overlooking the river on July 18.
The filming was reportedly for the TV adaption of The Marlow Murder Club, a crime novel penned by the Marlow-based novelist and screenwriter Robert Thorogood.
A source with knowledge of the production who wished to remain anonymous confirmed the shoot was part of the production.
Cameras with waterproof covers, crew members, and a cherry picker crane with lighting were seen outside the mansion riverside mansion.
The cherry picker crane used in the production costs around £2,000 per day to rent.
Filming for the new TV adaption began in Marlow on May 5 with a celebratory Tweet from Robert who has also created the BBC series Death in Paradise.
He said he hoped the TV series “can do the town proud,” before promising the filming won’t shut down the iconic Marlow bridge.
The series produced by Monumental Television in association with ITV Studios is set to air in 2024.
