FOUR drivers have faced fines and disqualifications across Buckinghamshire recently due to breaking an important driving law.

From speeding to using a mobile phone, here are some drivers who have been in court recently:

A DRIVER has been fined after being caught using their mobile phone.

Robert Sak, of Windsor Road, Gerrards Cross, was caught on September 2 last year using a hand-held mobile telephone.

The 56-year-old was caught on the A40 Western Avenue in his Ford Transit using the device.

He pleaded guilty at Ealing Magistrates Court and on July 12 he was fined £54.

Sak was also ordered to pay £300 in court courts and a victim surcharge of £22.

His driving licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

The total fine Sak needed to pay was £376.

A MAN has been fined more than £1,000 after failing to provide his identity to police.

Ashley Taylor, of Baring Road, Beaconsfield, was stopped by police on December 19 last year in Sidcup.

The 36-year-old was asked for information relating to the identification of the driver of the Volkswagen but Taylor refused.

At Willesden Magistrates Court on July 12, Taylor pleaded guilty and was fined £660.

He was also ordered to pay a £264 victim surcharge and court costs of £100.

His licence was also endorsed with six penalty points.

The total fine to be paid by August this year is £1,024.

A DRIVER has been fined after being caught exceeding the speed limit near London.

Fardosa Ali, of Milton Road, Aylesbury, was caught on January 1 this year exceeding the 20mph speed limit in Notting Hill.

The 56-year-old was caught on the A219 Scrubs Lane driving 24mph. They were caught on a RedSpeed SpeedCurb camera.

Ali was found guilty in absence as Willesden Magistrates Court on July 12 this year.

They were fined £220 for the offence and their driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

Ali was also ordered to pay court costs of £100 and a victim surcharge of £88.

The total fine is £408 to be paid by August.

A WOMAN has been fined after being caught exceeding the speed limit in her Peugeot.

Lisa Callnon, of Leacroft Road, Iver, was caught on January 2 this year exceeding the 30mph speed limit on the A40 in London.

The 48-year-old was caught on a Siemens SafeZone speed camera driving at 36mph.

At Willesden Magistrates Court on July 12, Callnon pleaded guilty and was fined £173 for the offence.

She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £69 and court costs of £50.

Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.

The total fine is £292 to be paid by August.
