A DRIVER has been disqualified and fined after being caught driving without insurance.

Jack Peedell, of Horseshoe Crescent, Beaconsfield, was caught on October 2 last year driving in Beaconsfield without third part insurance.

The 32-year-old was stopped in Horseshoe Crescent ‘when there was not in force in relation to that use such a policy of insurance or such a security in respect of third party risks as complied with the requirements of Part VI of the Road Traffic Act 1988’.

At Wycombe Magistrates Court on July 12, he was fined £666. He was also ordered to pay a £266 victim surcharge and £90 in court costs.

He was also disqualified from driving for six months. The total fine was £1,022.
