The police have cracked down on speeding drivers at ‘hotspots’ across Buckinghamshire.
Thames Valley Police officers were seen along the roads in Chesham, Amersham and Gerrards Cross on Saturday July 8.
A total of seven drivers were dealt with for speeding and other motoring offences on Lye Green Road in Chesham and some on St Mary’s Way, while Amersham saw no offences during the enforcement operation.
The force said on social media: “One particular driver was not happy seeing police conducting enforcement and after being caught driving over the limit, they demanded to see the “speed Calibration certificate” of course we showed them the certificate before issuing a speeding ticket and reporting them for having no tax on their vehicle.

“A second driver was also advised that if they are going to speed, they should really have had their MOT in order. This driver was dealt with for both offences.”
In Gerrards Cross, three drivers were stopped and dealt with for speeding on Windsor Road.
Currently, the neighbourhood policing priorities in the Chiltern and South Bucks area are burglary, speeding and drugs.
A new survey is open for residents to share their policing concerns and it can be found here.
The next Chiltern and South Bucks Policing Issues Forum open to the public will be held online on Wednesday July 26 from 6.30pm.
