Scheduled roadworks across Bucks next week involve multiple road closures for repairs and resurfacing.

Buckinghamshire Council has revealed the locations across the county where improvement works will be taking place next week.

Alongside repairing Bucks roadways, the 15 teams currently employed by Buckinghamshire Highways will carry out road surface dressing works over two- or three-week periods starting at the end of next week. 

Drainage cleaning, jet patching and street lighting repairs are also expected to take place county-wide.

Some of the planned works are weather dependent and require specialist materials so the dates below are subject to change at short notice.

Plane and patch works

Waterside, Chesham from Hospital Hill to Waterside Court, Monday 10 July to Friday 14 July. Plane and patch works using a road closure in operation between 9:30am – 3:30pm.

A413 London Road, Buckingham from the Shell Garage to the Tesco roundabout, Monday 10 July to Friday 14 July. Plane and patch works using a road closure in operation between 8pm – 6am.

Accelerated road surfacing works

A404 Amersham Road, Hazlemere from the junction of Inkerman Drive to the junction with Gravelly Way, Monday 10 July to Friday 14 July. Accelerated Road Surfacing Works using full closure between 8pm – 6am.

Drainage works

Ship Hill, Beaconsfield, Monday 10 July to Friday 14 July. Drainage works to resolve the flooding at the low point of Ship Hill in the area of the Woodlands Farm. These works will be carried out under a 24 hour Road closure from Monday to Friday.

Road surface dressing works

Whaddon Road, Mursley from Water Tower to A421, Thursday 13 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Whaddon Road, Newton Longville from  the Railway Bridge to county boundary near A421, Friday 14 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Amersham Road, Chesham Bois from  Moor Road/Amy Lane roundabout to Chiltern Road, Friday 14 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 8pm to 6am.

Great Brickhill Road, Soulbury from Leighton Road to Stewkley Road, Friday 14 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 9:30am to 3:30pm.

North Lee Lane, Terrick from Marsh Lane to A4010, Saturday 15 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Buckingham Road, Padbury from Thornborough Road to Lace Hill Estate, Saturday 15 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 8pm to 6am. No work happening on Sunday for North Bucks Bike Ride.

Risborough Road, Aston Sandford from A4129 Thame Road to Stanbridge Road, Sunday 16 July. Road surface dressing works using a full closure between 9:30am to 3:30pm.
