A man who was arrested for alleged child sex offences nearly three years ago in Marlow has been released ‘with no further action’.
The then 43-year-old was apprehended by the authorities on July 12, 2020, after being ambushed by a group of social justice vigilantes who streamed the incident live on social media.

After the man in question was interrogated by members of the public outside the Castleton Court property, the police arrived at the scene and arrested him on ‘suspicion of causing/inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity’.
He was then released on bail before being released under investigation.

Thames Valley Police has since confirmed that despite being advised by the Crown Prosecution Service to press charges following an investigation, no charges were ever authorised.
The individual arrested was released with no further action with the decision being made in January 2022.
