One of the largest cannabis farms in the country has been seized in Milton Keynes.

Officers from the town’s neighbourhood team were carrying out an inquiry at a property in Broughton, north Buckinghamshire, on the afternoon of June 27 when the discovery was made.

Numerous cannabis plants were found in every single room of the house, along with 'dangerous wiring as the electricity supply had been bypassed'.

The wiring was so hazardous that the main electricity supply had to be turned off for 45 minutes by the National Grid, causing disruption in the local area.
