A retired NASA astronaut has recently visited a secondary in High Wycombe.
Dominic 'Tony' Antonelli visited the John Hampden Grammar School on Friday, June 9 where he spoke to numerous Year 12 students about his experiences as an astronaut, along with the two space flights to the International Space Station.
The 55-year-old also took part in a questions and answers section with the sixth formers at the end.

His visit was kindly organised by alumnus Sam McKee with help from the International Space School Education Trust (ISSET).
Headteacher Tracey Hartley said: “He delivered an honest and inspirational presentation which included stunning photos and video footage of Mars and earth from space.’

“He proved to the boys that through hard work and making the most of opportunities you really can go anywhere - including outer space.”
For students of the future - JHGS will be welcoming prospective parents to the school at their open evening on July 11 this year and a place can be booked via the school website box office.
