A MAN has been given a community order after admitting to sending a threatening voicemail.
Andrew Brace, of Crest Road in High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to sending a voicemail to a woman on April 5 last year which ‘conveyed a threat for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient or to any other person to whom you intended that it or its contents or nature should be communicated’.

The 55-year-old was sentenced at Wycombe Magistrates Court on June 9. He was ordered to complete 60 hours of unpaid work and to abstain from alcohol for 120 days.
He was also made subject to a restraining order and a curfew.
