A busy roundabout in Bucks will be closed for four more nights while repair works are carried out.
Buckinghamshire Highways will carry out surfacing repair works to Wycombe Pedestal Roundabout from June 12 to June 16, with a road closure in place between 8pm and 6am.
The authority said they would also be installing CCTV cameras near the roundabout on the A40 West Wycombe Road while the works take place as part of an effort to "detect crime and other public safety issues".
The repairs are part of an ongoing maintenance programme rolled out in response to an increase in the reports of road defects around Buckinghamshire.
A representative from Bucks Council said: "Given the current condition of the roads, which is an issue around the country at present, we will be using our emergency powers, alongside new highway contracts, to fast track a number of essential road repairs.
"Unfortunately, it will not always be possible to give our normal periods of advanced notice and for this we apologise, but we believe that undertaking the road repairs themselves are the most important issue at this time."
