The Met Office has issued two yellow warnings in Buckinghamshire as disruption is expected.
The forecaster warned of thunderstorms and torrential downpours on Monday.
The yellow warning for thunderstorm is in place from 12noon until 9pm today (June 12), alongside a yellow warning for rain until 9am today.
What to expect during the yellow warning
Homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to building from floodwater, lighting strikes, hail or strong winds, the Met Office warned.
Some roads could have difficult conditions caused by spray and flooding, leading to road closures.
Train and bus passengers could be hit by delays and cancellations.

The forecaster also warned of power cuts to homes and businesses.

The Met Office said: “Thunderstorms and torrential downpours are expected to break out across central England and Wales during Monday.
“These will be slow moving and intense leading to some large accumulations with in excess of 30 mm in an hour for some locations and the potential for 60-80 mm or more in a few hours where thunderstorms align for a time. Frequent lightning and hail are likely to be additional hazards.”
Temperatures in Bucks are expected to hit the maximum of 27C with high UV warning.
