A High Street bank branch is due to be axed in Buckinghamshire soon.
Barclays has announced it will close its Chalfont St Peter High Street branch.
It will shut its doors for the final time on Thursday August 31.
Chalfont resident Anne Marie Vladar said the branch was “very well used” with frequent queues outside.
She said: “Not good enough Barclays another bank letting communities down.”
Barclays told customers they can continue to visit the nearest branches in Uxbridge or Ruislip in Greater London.
However, Anne was concerned for the nearest branch being in Uxbridge with “ULEZ charge looming.”
This means if the London Ultra Low Emission Zone (Ulez) expansion goes ahead to all London boroughs, drivers could face a daily charge of £12.50 to enter areas like Uxbridge if their vehicle doesn’t meet the emission standards.

The fresh wave of closures comes only months after the Amersham Barclays branch shut its doors on March 1 to the shock of many residents.
Barclays said 91 percent of the Chalfont St Peter branch customers also banked using the app, online and by phone in 2021.
For 16 customers, the branch was the only way to do their banking, Barclays said.
After the Chalfont St Peter branch closes, the nearest cash machines in the village will be at the Tesco Esso on Gravel Hill and BP Service Station on Oxford Road.
The nearest Post Offices are at Chalfont St Peter High Street and Packhorse Road in Gerrards Cross.
