After a recent inspection, an award-winning fish and chip shop has received a five-star hygiene rating.
Hi-Tide Fish and Chips, based in Aylesbury, got their score last month and proudly displayed their achievements in their shop window at the start of June.
Sharing the news on social media, they said: “It’s with great pride that we received top marks in our Food Hygiene inspection this afternoon.

The Mandeville Road eatery is regarded as one of the best in their industry within Buckinghamshire, with the establishment being owned by former professional footballer, Alan Hawley.
The 76-year-old (who turns 77 on June 7), is best known for his 12-year stint at Brentford between 1962 and 1974, where he played 344 times.
His son, Kyle, who runs the day-to-day at Hi-Tide along with his half-brother, Mark, is best known for his social media presence in which he has become an online sensation.

The 42-year-old deep fries specific items of food that have been requested by his audience before eating the finished product.
