A housing association’s annual community morning saw its volunteers give up more than 400 hours of their time to local projects in High Wycombe and its surrounding areas.
Organised by Red Kite on May 10, the teams, which included 135 members of staff and 10 tenant volunteers - headed out to take part in a range of activities including litter picking in Wycombe Marsh, gardening and decorating projects, painting and even working with animals.

The High Wycombe-based housing association also sent teams of volunteers to Booker Common, Coffee Snobs at The Hive, Missenden Walled Garden, Penn & Tyler Green FC, South Bucks Hospice, and Wrights Meadow to get stuck in with planting, painting, mowing, and trimming.
Aasia Nasir, Red Kite’s Head of Resident and Community Engagement said: "This year's Community Morning definitely lived up to expectations.
“Working in partnership with local community groups, staff, and tenant volunteers made the event such a success.
