THE bail application for a man charged in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old has been delayed.

Cameron Bailey was stabbed in Easton Street on Sunday, May 7 and four people have been charged in relation to his death.

Philip Solomon, 37, of no fixed address, Aaran Pattinson, 32, of Old Tea Warehouse, High Wycombe, and Scott Cordice, 29, of the same address, have been charged with murder.

Co-defendant Marlon Cato, 49, of Station Close, High Wycombe, has been charged with assisting an offender.

An application was due to be heard in Reading Crown Court today (May 17) for the bail of Cato. A bail application is a written request made to a court by an accused person or their legal representative seeking release from custody pending trial or other legal proceedings.

It is often heard in a Crown court when it has previously been refused in a Magistrates court.

However, the proceedings couldn’t go ahead today and will be relisted in the near future ahead of trial.

All four men are due to stand on trial at the same court on October 23 this year to be heard under Judge Amjad Nawaz.

However, a hearing will take place on June 30 when more evidence has been gathered and the finality of the charges and trial indictment can be put to the men – who have yet to be arranged.

Solomon and Pattinson are also accused of wounding another 17-year-old boy with intent and conspiracy to rob Mr Bailey and two others.
