An MP has said he will 'only give interviews to journalists he's skydived with' after joining forces with a reporter and a town mayor for a charity jump this weekend.
Steve Baker, MP for High Wycombe joined town mayor Arif Hussain and Bucks Free Press reporter Eleanor Burleigh as they embarked on their first ever skydive to raise money for charity on Sunday (May 14).
Mr Baker, who is an experienced skydiver with over 300 jumps under his belt, joked that Eleanor's initiative in signing up for the extreme sport had given him an idea of how to respond to requests from reporters.
In a video uploaded to his Twitter, he said: "I'm thinking of instituting a new rule - that I'll only give interviews to journalists I've skydived with.
"Any journalist watching this, how do you feel about that?"
As Eleanor and Arif waited for the low hanging clouds to clear before their dive, Mr Baker recruited them for a demonstration of formation skydiving using practice 'creeper' boards.
He also taught them a special skydiver handshake - and underestimated Eleanor's knuckles of iron!

Eleanor and Arif took the leap on Sunday as part of a fundraising effort in support of local mental health charities Growing Hope and Wycombe Mind.
