Two more people have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 17-year-old boy in High Wycombe.

A 32-year-old man, and a 32-year-old woman, who are both from the town, were apprehended by the authorities in the morning of Wednesday, May 10.

Two men, aged 29 and 49, also from High Wycombe, were previously arrested in relation to the murder a day before [May 9] and currently remain in custody after a warrant of further detention was obtained.

The four arrests are related to an incident that happened in the evening of Sunday, May 7 on Easton Street when a teenager was found dead at around 7.30pm.

Another 17-year-old boy was also injured but after being taken to hospital, it has since been confirmed that his injuries are not set to be life-threatening.

Following the teenager’s passing, a Home Office post-mortem examination has since taken place and the preliminary cause of death has been given as a stab wound to the back.

Formal identification has not yet taken place and the boy’s family will still receive support from specially trained officers.
