A council has said it is 'saddened' by the death of a 17-year-old boy, who was stabbed in High Wycombe on Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of a stabbing on Easton Street in High Wycombe on Sunday, May 7, at 7:30pm.
A 17-year-old boy, who has yet to be formally identified, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services.
Two men, aged 49 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and are currently being held in custody.
Councillor Steve Bowles, cabinet member for community for Buckinghamshire Council, said he was "saddened to hear the tragic news" of the teenager's murder.
Adding: “Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. The council is working closely with the police to support their ongoing investigation into this incident.”
