An accident near junctions 3 and 4 on the M40 has caused delays.
Drivers spotted multiple police cars heading to the site of a reported accident on junction 3 of the M40 road near Loudwater this mroning.
The accident has caused delays on the southbound road near junction 3 in Loudwater and on the northboard junction 4 exit to High Wycombe.
In the Facebook group High Wycombe (HW), Liana Schmid reported a sighting of the accident at around 2am this morning (May 7).
She wrote: "About 30 minutes ago there were 10 police cars near junction 3, with more coming."
According to live traffic updates for the motorway, a general obstruction was in place blocking southbound traffic into Loudwater at 5am this morning.
As of 10am, congestion has also built up along the northbound road near the M40 exit to High Wycombe.
Thames Valley Police has been contacted for comment.
