A pony and trap racing incident has been reported on the A413 road in Bucks.
Residents reported sightings of a pony and trap racer at the junction of the A40 and A413 dual carriageways at around 12pm today (May 6).
A number of people and horses were reportedly gathered at the junction.
The A413 road through Denham and Gerrards Cross has been the site of multiple pony and trap racing incidents over the last few years, a recurring issue that has long angered locals.
Three incidents occured this March that required a police presence and led to the busy road becoming backed up as drivers tried to navigate the pony and traps safely.
Thames Valley Police has said the "escalation" of horse and cart racing in Buckinghamshire may be due to a recent enforcement response to the sport by police in Hampshire.
