Buckinghamshire residents have voted on the Ultra Low Emission Zone (Ulez) expansion plans near the county border.
London mayor Sadiq Khan’s plans to extend the controversial Ulez to all London boroughs and up to the Buckinghamshire border have been met with opposition, including a legal challenge by five Conservative London councils.
If the plans go ahead, drivers could face a daily charge of £12.50 anywhere in Greater London from August 29 if their vehicle falls short of the Ulez emission standards.
Now Bucks residents have shared what they think of the controversial plan designed to reduce air pollution in the capital.
A total of 580 votes were cast after we asked readers last week if they agree with the plans.
Most people opposed the plans, with 66% (381 people) saying they didn’t agree with it.

A third of people (33%) said they agreed with the Ulez expansion, while 1% of respondents said they maybe agreed with it.
There are currently no plans to expand Ulez into Buckinghamshire or other Home Counties but many Bucks motorists have said it will affect their lives.
Recently Aylesbury MP Rob Butler joined other Bucks politicians to call out Ulez, saying its expansion was “Sadiq Khan’s war on car-drivers.”
