Drivers were warned of queues after a crash hit morning traffic on the motorway.
Traffic was queueing on the M40 today (May 3) after a crash on the southbound lane between High Wycombe and Loudwater around 7am.
The accident involving three cars was reported between J4A404 High Wycombe Handy Cross Roundabout to J3 A40 Knaves Beech (Loudwater).
There was also congestion to A404 Bisham Roundabout Northbound.

Lanes were closed to recover the three vehicles involved safely, traffic service Inrix said.
All lanes reopened shortly after 9am, but delays remain.
