Bucks children have a chance to be Kings and Queens for a day as part of a Coronation party.
Chiltern Music Academy is hosting a children’s Coronation Party for four to eight-year-olds in High Wycombe town centre on Saturday April 29.
So far more than 100 children have signed up but the organisers are welcoming more kids and parents to come along for the party from 2pm to 5pm.
At 3.30pm the children, dressed as miniature kings and queens with crowns they will have made, will march down Wycombe High Street with Lord Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, the High Sheriff, chairman of Buckinghamshire Council and Wycombe mayor.

After arriving to All Saints Parish Church, they will process up the aisle while the massed choir and Chiltern Music Academy orchestra perform ‘Zadok the Priest’, the famous coronation anthem since George II.
Then they will sing the new coronation song by Lin Marsh before enjoying a Coronation Cake and embarking on a musical instrument trail through Eden Centre.
Tickets to the party for one adult and child cost £5 and they can be purchased via chilternmusicacademy.org
