A bank has launched a banking van for customers at a car park in Buckinghamshire.
The banking giant Barclays has brought its mobile banking van to Chesham amid a wave of branch closures on Britain’s High Streets.
Chesham Barclays on The Broadway shut permanently on June 4 2021.
Now Barclays customers can drop in at the van located at Sainsbury’s car park on Elgiva Lane this spring and summer.
A spokesperson for Barclays said the van visits “many locations across the region supporting communities and will be at Chesham bi-weekly on Tuesdays in May and June.”

The van opening hours are 10.30am to 2.30pm and customers can just turn up or book an appointment.
“Services available include financial reviews, balance requests, open new accounts and support with digital banking. As The Van is a cashless, everyday banking transactions will need to be completed at the local Post Office,” Barclays said.
The nearest Barclays branch to Chesham is in Hemel Hempsted.
