LEADMAN of 80s genre-defining band The Smiths has announced a new tour date in Bucks.
Singer-songwriter Morrissey, who was leadman of The Smiths until the band's demise in 1987 is bringing his UK tour to Buckinghamshire with a new date at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.
The artist, who has been a controversial figure in recent years due to his outspoken political views, has nevertheless had a successful solo career, even beating Paul McCartney to be named the second Greatest Living British Icon by the BBC in 2006.
With 36 years of solo material under his belt and a setlist that's sure to include some classic The Smiths numbers, it's no wonder most of his UK tour dates have already sold out.
Due to this unforeseen demand, the How Soon Is Now? singer has announced an extra date - at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Sunday, July 23.
Tickets go on sale for the concert on Friday, April 21, at 9:30am. Readers can visit https://gigst.rs/Morrissey to purchase them on the day.
