Drivers were warned of congestion in Buckinghamshire on Good Friday.
Both the M25 and M40 are hit by heavy congestion this morning, the traffic alert service AA warned.
There are delays of five minutes and delays increasing on M25 anticlockwise between M25 and J16 M40 J1A.
Average speed in the area is between 10 and 20 mph.

The M25 was congested near Heathrow with AA warning of slow moving traffic both ways near Iver.
Queues and heavier than normal traffic was reported on the Handy Cross Roundabout.
Traffic was moving slow on the M40 northbound lane between Handy Cross J4 and Beaconsfield Services J2, the AA showed.
