Council bosses announced a new scheme to help bus passengers.
Buckinghamshire Council launched a five-month trial to help older and disabled passengers with travel costs during times they cannot travel for free.
From April until August, Council concession bus pass holders can travel for a reduced £1 fare before 9am.
Steven Broadbent, Buckinghamshire Council's Cabinet Member for Transport, said: "We're delighted to launch this 5-month trial in Buckinghamshire in partnership with our local bus operators, extending the scope of the concessionary bus pass scheme for our older and disabled residents.

“By offering travel before 9am for a reduced fare of £1, the new trial will provide greater flexibility and accessibility for passengers and promote the benefits of using the local bus network.
“Bus pass holders will continue to have free travel on weekdays between 9am and 11:59pm."
The bus operators taking part include Carousel Buses.
The company told passengers they can take advantage of the new ‘early bird’ concession for trips within Buckinghamshire.
To qualify for the discount, the trip must start and finish within Buckinghamshire, passengers were told.
Residents aged 65 and over qualify for the concession pass.
