A crash on a residential road led to a ‘major’ emergency response yesterday.
The police sealed of Wilton Road in Beaconsfield yesterday afternoon following a collision on March 4 shortly after 4pm.
Resident Antony Woodward reported seeing a badly damaged SUV with debris scattered around it near the Ledborough Lane junction in the leafy residential area.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the emergency services were alerted following a collision.
One appliance and crew from Beaconsfield and one from Amersham along with an officer attended the scene.
The fire service commented: “Our firefighters provided assistance to South Central Ambulance Service following a collision.
“The scene was left in the hands of South Central Ambulance Service and Thames Valley Police.”
The police and ambulance declined to comment the incident since it was a road traffic collision.
