An underpass in Marlow has been victim to 'extensive' graffiti as police warn of an expected rise in anti-social behaviour.
Marlow Town Council worked with the Community Payback team to paint over graffiti in the Gossmore Recreation Ground underpass last week.
It comes after the town's Neighbourhood Policing Team warned residents in a newsletter that an increase in anti-social behaviour including graffiti and drug use is expected as the weather gets warmer.
The report said: "The team are preparing for additional high visibility patrols across the Easter holidays to tackle anti-social behaviour in parks and green spaces.
"They are proactively working with local residents to identify offenders in order to take robust action to prevent criminality."
The newsletter revealed a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour in Marlow at the beginning of this year, with 58 cases reported between January and March, a rise of 10 from the previous quarter.
Town Clerk, Hilary Martin, said: "The council often work with the Community Payback team to keep Marlow looking clean and tidy.
"Last week, the team cleaned and painted over the extensive graffiti in the Gossmore underpass."
