A wife is desperate for support from the community after her husband suffered broken bones in a horrific motorbike accident.
Gemma O'Donovan from High Wycombe set up the fundraising campaign to raise money for her husband’s medical expenses.
Her husband Angel Saul Almonte Martínez was involved in a motorbike crash on Saturday, April 1, breaking both of his legs, three ribs, collar bone, arm and he has suffered a fractured skull.
From what she understands, her husband was riding his bike and ‘skidded and crashed into lamppost’
The newlyweds tied the knot in February and now Gemma is hoping to raise £2,100 towards her husband's medical costs.
She said: “It would mean everything to us to be able to raise as much as we can. We've done so well so far and I'm amazed by people's generosity so far.
“It's so incredibly difficult being on the other side of the world and not being able to see him. It's been confusing at times and trying to get translations right and the hospitals and clinics are not always the best there.”
Angel is currently in a hospital in the Dominican Republic where his family are by his side helping raise money.

He also needs blood and his family has asked Spanish locals if they can help spread the word.
So far the family have raised £3,500 and £938 of that has been raised through the go fund me page.
She wrote on there: “We've done everything we can for medical expenses and now we really need help.
“We've been married only just over a month. Anything anyone can do to help would be so gratefully appreciated.
“He's the most kind-hearted generous person and the love of my life and I can't be there with him in his time of need as he's on the other side of the planet”
