A cafe based in Hazlemere is opening a new location today inside the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden.
The Canny Cafe will be open between 10:30am and 3:30pm from today (April 4), serving lunch and coffee to visitors every weekend and weekday of the school holidays.
Opening just in time for the Easter break, the Canny Cafe in the Courtyard is set to offer a range of hot and cold food and drink options, with Hazlemere-based fare ranging from pancakes to soup and jacket potatoes.
It will replace the former Roald Dahl cafe, which was previously open for three to four days a week before closing last year.
In a Facebook post, a spokesperson for Canny Cafe wrote: "We are super excited about this swashboggling opportunity!
“The children’s museum is a fantastic way to keep your small people entertained and now you won’t have to worry about bringing lunch with you or grabbing a coffee on the way in. We look forward to seeing you soon for some scrumdiddlyumptious fare!”
Alongside a gallery trail and statues of famous Roald Dahl characters, the museum is also holding Easter workshops in craft-making, storytelling and more up until April 16.
