SHOPS in Amersham Old Town have been severely damaged by a fire which broke out in the early hours this morning.
The fire started at 12.30am in The Famous Fish and crews from High Wycombe, Chesham, Amersham and Beaconsfield attended.
High Wycombe crew manager John Franklin said: "On initial attendance flamers were breaking through the windows.
"It's taken out shops to the side of it. In terms of fire damage they were severely damaged."
