A POPULAR artisan market revealed its latest new location in Bucks.
Cooper’s Markets announced it was expanding its monthly food and drink market to Gerrards Cross.
The announcement comes after Sunday markets in Old Amersham and Great Missenden have been a hit among foodies looking for a treat from Chiltern traders.
Tens of local traders and producers will offer delicacies such as cheese, jams, meat, artisan bread, wines and spirits and hot drinks among others at the market, which will close Station Road into the afternoon.
A spokesperson for Cooper’s Markets said: “We met with mayor Andrew Wood, and he was really excited about the market bringing something to the town High Street.
“We decided to launch on Easter Sunday, because that’s when we launched the Amersham one and it felt like a fitting date – bank holiday Sunday, people are looking for something to do.
“We selected Station Road as the perfect location because it’s off the main drag but it’s close enough to the centre of Gerrards Cross for people to get a parking space in Tesco or the car park by Waitrose, and come explore the market.

The organisers have been “inundated with new traders wanting to join the market.”
The success of the markets has meant they’re currently looking for a fourth market location in Buckinghamshire, they revealed.
Gerrards Cross mayor Andrew Wood and the Town Council were “delighted to have Cooper’s Market coming to Station Road on the second Sunday of every month.”
He had heard “great things about this well organised and successful market from the other towns they visit.”
“We'd also like to thank Associate Town Councillor Lisa Lindvall for her efforts in making this happen,” he added.
The first artisan market is held on Sunday April 9 at 10am - 3pm on Station Road, and on every second Sunday of the month after that.
