The fire crews were alerted after a ‘strong’ burning smell on a residential road in Buckinghamshire.
Crews from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to The Braid in Chesham on Wednesday (March 15) at around 4.30pm.
One appliance and crew from Amersham and one from Gerrards Cross rushed to a house after reports of electrical burning smell.
Bucks Fire and Rescue Service said: “There was a strong smell of burning in the garage on arrival.”

To ensure the area was safe, the firefighters used a gas monitor, a thermal imaging cameras, positive pressure ventilation fan to help clear the smell and an immediate emergency care pack.
“They also re-energised the electrical supply and carried out a Home Fire Safety Visit,” the fire service said.
