From today families can enjoy a new nature trail at Black Park Country Park.
The free 'Litter Bug' trail sees insects made out of litter situated around the main lake.
Run in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean 2023, the trail is aimed at teaching young people how to reduce, reuse, recycle and most importantly, why not to drop litter.
The one-mile circuit around the lake is self-led, but directional signs will be on display along the route.
Visitors are challenged to find all eight bugs, constructed from litter collected from the Country Parks, in the shape of giant bugs, from bottle-top beetles to water bottle spiders.
Interesting facts and information about recycling, the environment and how you can make a difference accompany each sculpture.
The trail opens to the public on Friday, March 17 and will run until Sunday, April 16.
Visitors can navigate the trail at any time during the usual car park opening hours.
