A 19-year-old man has been charged in connection with a bomb scare in High Wycombe.
Thames Valley Police have today charged Jack Coleman, 19, of Amersham Hill, High Wycombe, with possession of an explosive substance and other offences following the incident on Amersham Hill on Tuesday (March 14).
Following a tip-off from a concerned member of the public, the police and bomb squad closed off part of Amersham Hill by the Wycombe Railway Station.
Trains were suspended for a period of time while police closed off the road and the explosive ordance unit was draughted in to support police with the investigation.
It happened about 1.30pm on March 14 and the road was closed off into the evening.

Thames Valley Police confirmed today's charge is in relation to the incident in Amersham Hill.
Mr Coleman was charged with one count of possession of an explosive substance for unlawful purpose, possession of a knife in public place and burglary.
He is due to appear before High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today (March 17).
