BUCKINGHAMSHIRE has been named as having some of the worst roads in England, according to new data.
In a study, conducted by Bill Plant Driving School, Bucks was found to be the 10th worst area for driving conditions across the UK.
The data focused on issues such as highway and transport expenditure, to roads requiring maintenance - with a main focus on A roads and motorways.
The findings suggest 6 per cent of Buckinghamshire's roads are deemed to be in poor condition and require maintenance.
When driving on uneven roads, Bill Plant recommends to "go easy on the gas", "watch out for standing water" and to "ensure both hands are on the wheel".
