POLICE have been called again over the weekend to pony and trap racing on a busy A road in Chalfont.
The issue has angered local residents as it causes disruption to drivers using the A413.
The A413 around Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter has long been used by pony and cart racers at the weekends, regularly causing traffic chaos as drivers try to get around them safely.
A video previously shared with the Bucks Free Press showed the event in June last year, showing several vehicles involved including a trailer filled with at least 16 people, and the pony and trap using the busy road near Gerrards Cross Golf Club.
The racing returned on (March 4) as police reportedly swooped to thwart proceedings.
Then again this weekend on Sunday, March 12.
Thames Valley Police said: "Local Police Teams were out patrolling the A413 Chalfont again this weekend. We were ready to enforce the Section 34 Dispersal Order in relation to dangerous driving and disorder Pony and Trap Racing typically brings to the area.
"Saturday no major racing took place.
"Sunday we dealt with a small group that arrived around lunchtime. We intercepted them and they were dispersed.
"Two Section 59 warning notices were also issued for driving in an anti social manner."
