Schools have reopened in Berkshire today after the Arctic blast cleared.
The Met Office issued a Yellow warning for snow and ice yesterday (March 8) as weather turned wintry in Berkshire and southern England.
Snow covered parts of Berkshire before it turned into sleet and rain as the weather front pushed east.

The forecast for Reading today shows rain until around 11am, with drier spell until 5pm.
Temperatures today can reach 10C during the day.
The conditions forced some schools to close for the day or open later than usual yesterday.
Now all schools show “no reported problems” and they should be open as usual.
