WEEKLY round up of hearings at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court. 

February 20:

JAMES COATES, 24, of Meadow Gardens, Buckinghamshire, pleaded guilty to drug driving on August 7 last year on the A41 Aylesbury Road. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £395. Coates was also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £158 victim surcharge.

ANNI ERNO, 43, of Troutstream Way, Loudwater, was found guilty of assaulting a police constable on January 31 this year. He was given a period of conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £50. Court costs of £85 were also ordered as well as a victim surcharge of £26.

PIOTR ADAMCZYK, 40, of High Street, Wendover, pleaded guilty to drink driving on January 15 this year in Wendover Road with namely 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 21 months and fined £120. Court costs of £85 were also ordered as well as a £125 victim surcharge.

RAMILSON FERREIRA, 52, of London Road, High Wycombe, pleaded guilty to drink driving on January 15 this year in Frogmoor with namely 125 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 31 months and ordered to complete 200 hours of unpaid work. Court costs of £85 were also ordered as well as a £114 victim surcharge.

MOHAMMED AKHTAR, 21, of Miersfield, High Wycombe, was found guilty of possessing a Class A drug in Amersham on April 24, 2021. He was fined £76 and the drugs were ordered to be forfeited and destroyed. Court costs of £85 were also ordered as well as a £34 victim surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER ANDREWS, 41, of Meadowcroft, Aylesbury, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis after being suspected of having driven a vehicle under the influence. He was disqualified from driving for 52 months and fined £500. An alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement has also been ordered for 120 days. An additional £85 court costs have also been ordered as well as a £114 victim surcharge.

KAROL ZURAWEK, 32, of Carlyle Close, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention in Sherwood Drive, Bletchley on August 11 last year. He also pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle with the offside rear wheel fitted with a pneumatic tyre which had the ply/cord exposed. His driving record has been endorsed with six points and he has been fined £246. A victim surcharge of £110 has also been ordered.

CALLUM WHITE, 25, of Aylesbury Street, Milton Keynes, pleaded guilty to using violence for the purpose of securing entry into a property on September 22 last year. He was fined £355 as well as an £85 court cost.

LEWIS WEBB, 31, of Victoria Street, High Wycombe, was found guilty of possessing a Stanley knife in Amersham Road on February 14 this year. He was also found guilty of interfering with a vehicle with the intention of theft. He was sentenced to 26 weeks in jail as well as a four week sentence to run concurrently.

Costs include victim surcharge and courts charges.
