THE POLICE have stopped a drug driver after he was seen 'racing' on the streets on Friday.
Thames Valley Police officers spotted a Ford Fiesta in Bedgrove, Aylesbury, on Friday March 3 afternoon.
The driver caught their attention after it was seen "doing its best Mario Kart impression as it raced around the mean streets of Bedgrove," the force said.
The car triggered the ANPR system as it had been recently marked for drug driving.
Thames Valley Police said on social media: "The car was followed and stopped nearby. The driver was not very happy, but he knew the score having been arrested recently for a very similar offence."

The officers smelled "a waft of cannabis" when the male driver got out of the car, prompting a roadside drug wipe, which showed positive indication for cannabis in less than a minute.
He was then taken to Milton Keynes for a blood procedure.
"The driver now joins the long list of those awaiting the results from the labs to see whether they will be disqualified," Thames Valley Police added.
