A RESIDENT was left in awe after spotting a rare Reeve's pheasant, a bird which is native to China.
Graham Parkinson said he was out before dawn in Marlow, to watch the local hares when he saw the "stunning chap" walking past.
Mr Parkinson immediately got his camera out and took pictures of the rare bird, which he believes to have escaped from its owner.
Reeve’s pheasants hold the world record for the longest tail feathers on a wild bird which are six feet but can be as long as eight feet.
